The fabric, known as Burel, is a traditional fulled wool cloth whose roots trace back centuries. Dense, warm, and highly durable, it has long been valued for its resilience in harsh mountain climates.

Produced in collaboration with the Burel Factory, the material is woven on ancestral 19th-century looms and finished by hand. Its 13.3oz weight provides a substantial yet breathable structure, perfectly suited for colder days. Details such as corozo buttons, a single chest pocket, and two hip patch pockets underline the workwear inspiration, while underarm gussets allow ease of movement. A woven Burel Factory x Merz b. Schwanen label on the inside marks the collaboration.
