The vibrant pattern of this blanket is inspired by the beautiful views of Solstice Canyon, seen from the Rising Sun Trailhead in the Santa Monica Mountains of California. The colorful bands represent the creeks that have shaped the canyons between the famous peaks of Sugarloaf, Lady Face, and Saddle Peak. The mountains are covered in chaparral, and the triangular shapes symbolize the region’s trees, inhabited by wild parrots.
