Samurai Jeans S0255XX Ushiwaka 15oz Otokogi Selvage - Tight Tapered

Here it is, the newest overseas exclusive Samurai Jeans model, called Ushiwaka named after the legendary swordsman Minamoto no Yoshitsune. Samurai used their famous 15oz Otokogi selvedge denim, that is world-renowned for its unique “Atari”. The S0255XX is a brand-new cut in Samurai’s eclectic fit portfolio – tight tapered, with a narrow leg opening and a medium high rise. Versatile and easy to combine with almost everything that you find in your wardrobe.

15oz Otokogi Denim

The Otokogi denim is a high-tension weave, constructed from 100% Texas cotton, that is renowned for its “roughness”, due to its high amount of short fibers. Usually, the short fibers are removed to make the fabric smoother, but Samurai even added more short fibers to make the yarns even rougher. The result is an unparalleled uneven textured denim with an unprecedented “Atari” (fading) potential.
