Samurai Jeans S510XX 25oz ‘Yari-No-Mataza’ Selvedge Jeans – Regular Straight / 25th Anniversary Special Edition

The Yari-no-mataza Jeans is a special 25th-anniversary edition from Samurai Jeans, celebrating Maeda Toshiie and crafted in a limited 25oz denim. Toshiie, renowned for his unparalleled skill with the Yari (long spear), earned the moniker "Yari-no-mataza" (The Left Arm of the Spear) for his remarkable feats on the battlefield.

This commemorative model captures the spirit of Toshiie Maeda and honors his legacy with elegant gold stitching and a leather patch that pays homage to Kaga (now Ishikawa Prefecture), famous for its gold leaf craftsmanship. The buttons are adorned with a plum and pine motif - “Matsu” (pine) was also the name of his wife, while the plum was his family’s crest.

The S510XX was Samurai’s first model, introduced 25 years ago, and its regular straight-cut silhouette remains unchanged to this day.
