The SG5105 features a modern slim straight fit with a low rise and a subtle taper from the knee to the hem. Naturally, it is crafted from Strike Gold’s signature 15oz original right-hand twill slub selvedge denim. This low-tension weave is made with pure indigo warp and grey weft yarns, creating an unparalleled slubby selvedge fabric.
Producing this fabric is both time-intensive and costly. For perspective: a single shuttle loom can weave only 40 meters of this fabric in 24 hours, and approximately 2.7 meters of denim are required to make one pair of jeans – you do the math.
